Warm and welcoming libraries

Explore libraries are open from early in the morning into the evening.

You can relax, study, meet friends or join in with a range of free and low-cost activities for all ages such as crafting, book groups or board games. 

Our free toy library, under 5 story and play sessions, Lego clubs and events for children all help families make their money go a bit further.

Low-cost hot meals are available at most Explore Reading Cafes.

We have PCs and printers for you to use, and digital support on hand from our knowledgeable and friendly staff. All libraries and cafes have free wifi.
