We are hosting two exhibitions at York Explore to celebrate UN International Day of Persons with Disabilities on 3 December. The exhibitions will run until 16 January.

Disability Pride; Independent Living

An exhibition of artwork submitted by British and Italian students for the 2018 Eleanor Worthington Prize, on the theme of Disability Pride; Independent Living.

What It’s Like To Be Me

An exhibition by The Disability Art Creative Youth Network (DACY). DACY is a network for young adult artists with disabilities who meet monthly at York Explore to develop artistic skills and to socialise with others with disabilities who share an interest in the arts. The exhibition represents a year of DACY working together, loosely focussing on the theme of ‘What It’s Like To Be Me’.
