The NHS will be 70 on Thursday 5 July and some of our libraries in York will be celebrating along with other organisations in York to invite people to pop in for a cuppa and a chat. We are joining the City Of York Council, York CVS. the Vale of York Clinical Commissioning Group and Healthwatch York in their aim to combat loneliness one cuppa at a time.
York, Acomb, Clifton and Tang Hall Explores are inviting people to join them to celebrate NHS70 next week. You will be able to sign a card giving your thanks to the NHS and make a pledge to say how you will improve your own health and support your neighbours and people in your community to improve theirs. Everyone is welcome to come in for a cup of tea and a chat. It’s a perfect opportunity to meet new people in your community.
