National Poetry Day: Pop-up poet Pauline Kirk

Pauline Kirk will read some of her own poems on the theme of Freedom, You can ask questions, and bring your  favourite poems. Join in with some Rhyme games or write an ‘instant poem’.

Pauline Kirk is the author of six novels (three written as PJ Quinn), and ten collections of poetry. She is also Editor of Fighting Cock Press.

 

Poets in residence are popping up at Explore libraries and Reading Cafes throughout National Poetry Day. Let’s all spend the day talking about, thinking about, reading, writing and sharing more poetry.
