Joseph Chaplain is a new writer currently living in the Peak District. A winner of the Crystal Peake Folklore Retellings competition, his short fiction is soon to be published in their upcoming anthology. His poetry is currently unpublished.
Julia Deakinwas born in Nuneaton and worked her way north to Yorkshire via Shropshire, the Potteries and Manchester. A compelling reader, she has won numerous prizes and featured twice on Poetry Please. When not writing, or editing Pennine Platform poetry magazine, Julia enjoys walking and ice skating.

Sue Norton has been writing poetry since 2014. She was a prize winner in the 2017 Rialto/RSPB Nature poetry competition judged by Kathleen Jamie, and won 3rd prize in the 2019 York Literature poetry competition, judged by Clare Shaw. She has been commended in other competitions and published in various magazines. She will be reading from her first pamphlet Green& Valentine, published by Hedgehog Press and copies will be available for sale after the reading.
